![]() > issues, sorta like the lean surging right before > restarting, any sort of hesitation/sputtering > problems with the Z31 such as when you're > One thing I'm wondering, are there any known ![]() Mainly I'm wondering if there's any solution for the turbo cars? Or would I just have to get a new bung welded into my downpipe, get the titania O2 sensor, and splice in the dropping resistors for my injectors, so I could use a later 87-89 Turbo ECU? Although this may be the way to go as I would eventually like to use Nistune. I've seen the other solution is that you'd have to rig up the ECU to run off the Fuel Temp Sensor signal until warmed-up, then switch to the CHTS signal. I've also read that not all the 84/85 ECUs had the problem. As these ECUs apparently had slightly better fuel maps and did not have this problem. From what I've found the solution to this issue, at least on the N/A cars is to swap in an ECU from an 87 300ZX N/A. Once it kicks into closed loop there's no problem. ![]() After a few moments I get a surging issue/slight sputtering while driving. Starts up with no problem and even right at first seems to go fine. Unfortunately is down, but XenonZ31 has the info on the ECU's listed on his page.Īnyway so you guys know, I'm running a 1983 280ZXT with an 84' 300ZXT ECU. ![]() Ok, I've been doing some searching through google, zcar, etc. ![]()
